The tour starts with a scenic trip on the Bergen railway across the roof of Norway, with views of the blue ice of the Hardangerjokulen glacier at Finse. Next, travel on the steepest conventional train, the 20 km railway from the snowy mountain town of Myrdal to the shimmering Aurlandsfjord in 20 km to Flam with breathtaking views of thundering waterfalls.
The tour continues by boat through Noeroyfjord, the narrowest fjord in Europe surrounded by towering mountains up to 1800 metres high. At Gudvangen, the tour continues by coach up the steep and spectacular hairpin bends of the Stalheimskleiva, before returning to Voss to pick up the Bergen railway.
The tour operates all year except the drive through the Stalheimskleiva takes another route in winter for safety reasons. Reduced fares in winter.

As with Norway in a Nutshell trip above with which it can be combined, the tour starts with a scenic trip on the Bergen railway from Oslo across the roof of Norway, with views of the blue ice of the Hardangerjokulen glacier at Finse. The voyage from Bergen is on the Express Boat passes beautiful coastal scenery to Stavanger, where you pick up the Southern Railway to Oslo. En route you pass through Kristiansand, one of Norway’s most popular summer cities. The journey via the Southern Railway may detour via the Vestfold line and Skien making it possible to add the Telemark Canal in the itinerary. At least one overnight stay required on the Triangle tour. Tour available in reverse direction.
